Dens of six to eight boys, plus adult partners
How often do the Lion’s meet?
1 den meeting per month
Outings – field trips
Participate in 2 to 3 Cub Scout Pack Meetings
Adventure Book & Uniform
The youth Adventure Book is designed as a keepsake book
The uniform is a Lion t-shirt & a cap
Adventures & Recognition
Lion participants are recognized for each completed adventure with an adventure sticker and an adventure belt loop that will be worn on a belt with the uniform.
The Lion badge is earned by completing five required adventures
What are the dues? And what are they used for?
The annual dues for the Lion rank is $100. The dues are prorated based on the date joined. A portion goes to the NCAC Council which is used for insurance on scouting events, events organized by the NCAC, and other council expenses. The rest goes to the pack to cover the cost of the t-shirt, cap, handbook book, expenses for official pack events, and Boys Life magazine.
