Bike Rodeo
Our 2025 Bike Rodeo is scheduled for Sunday, June 1, 12-2pm!
Pack 1344 hosts an annual Bike Rodeo in the Cherry Run neighborhood. Cub Scouts and all children and families in the community are invited to attend.
Participants ride around the neighborhood at their own pace stopping at different homes where obstacle courses are chalked on the pavement. Participants test their skills on these challenging obstacles.

Instructions
Stations will be set up from 12-2pm on Sunday June 1, 2025!
- Stop by any station to pick up your passport (or print out the graphic above) and start the circuit!
- Complete stations in any order! Collect stickers upon completion of each station’s challenge!
- Team up with a friend or your den to complete the rodeo in style!

- Starting and Stopping (Mounting & Dismounting)
Demonstrate starting and stopping while maintaining control. - Figure 8 (Circling/Changing Direction)
Test balance and steering control while changing directions. - Diminishing Clearance (Straight Line Control)
Practice balance and steering control. - Cone Weave (Weaving and Maneuvering)
Test balance, steering control and the ride’s ability to judge distance. - Stop on a Dime! (Stopping Ability)
Test judgment and braking control.
- Short Radius Turning (S Turn)
Test balance, speed control and steering coordination. - Turtle Crawl (Slow Speed Control)
Maintain bike control at slow speed without touching the ground! - Tight Turns
Enhance balance and control maneuvering skills. - Cruise Control
Practice using momentum and managing speed. - Newspaper Delivery
Maintain control of your bike while tossing newspapers into a target area!
